Requirements: Appointed by Kage.
Ninjas who possess unmatched strength and skill are ranked right below that of a Kage. A maximum of three Sannin per village are appointed by each Kage. Sannins no longer wear forehead protectors or vests, in order to blend in with common civilians. They are emitted to perform dangerous S-Class missions.

Traffic Jelly (交通ゼリー )
Traffic Jelly is a superb ninja in the Hidden Leaf Village. He is a man of many talents, such as making delicious sandwhiches. He is tormented daily from his sadwhich skills but shows no signs of irritation. There wasn't any disappointment when he was elected as Sannin and he enjoys traveling to other villages and snatching recipes.

One-Tailed Shukaku
According to Madara Uchiha, the One-Tail first came into being in the waning days of the Sage of the Six Paths' life; to prevent the Ten-Tailed Beast's resurgence, the Sage split up its chakra and used Izanagi to create nine separate, monstrous constructs of living chakra, which would become known as the tailed beasts. Citizens of Sunagakure believed that "Shukaku", as the One-Tail came to be called, was a living ghost (生霊, ikiryō) of a corrupted Suna priest, and was originally sealed inside a tea kettle. Shukaku is cunning, but also incoherent, giving it the demeanor of a drunkard, which fits well with the typical depictions of tanuki in Japanese folklore. Shukaku itself translates to "drunk" in Japanese. Like other tailed beasts, its innate rage and bloodlust influences its behavior. Shukaku relishes the opportunity to kill anyone in sight, even more so during a full moon. Both the One and Two-Tailed were originally from the Land of Lightning but were send over to Konoha due to difficult conflicts. It is now currently sealed within the sannin, Jelly.
